- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 32 oz frozen tater tots
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until crumbly. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, and chopped pickles; simmer for 3 minutes.
- Spread the beef mixture in the prepared baking dish and layer with frozen tater tots.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
