- 250g kunafa dough (thawed)
- 100g unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup full-fat milk
- 75g granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Optional: 50g chopped pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Shred thawed kunafa dough into fine strands.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter and shredded dough until well coated.
- Grease a muffin tin and press the dough into each cup, forming small nests.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking, whisk milk, sugar, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened (about 5 minutes).
- Remove baked cups from the tin and fill generously with cream filling. Top with chopped pistachios if desired.
