- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 6 slices crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add ground beef and chopped onions. Cook until browned.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream. Stir in the cooked bacon, beef mixture, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in half of the cheddar cheese. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden brown.
