- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping broccoli and mincing garlic and ginger.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute). Then add broccoli florets and cook until bright green and tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth. Pour this mixture over the beef and broccoli.
- Simmer on medium heat for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving over rice or noodles.
