Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually stir in milk until just combined; do not overmix.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, cook pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add heavy cream and pepper; simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes).
- Serve warm biscuits topped generously with sausage gravy.
