Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  3. Cut in cold butter and vanilla until the mixture resembles crumbs.
  4. In another bowl, toss cherries with half the sugar and let sit briefly.
  5. Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the greased dish, layer with cherries, and top with remaining crumble.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and fragrant. Allow to cool before slicing.
