Instructions

  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion and bell peppers until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, sautéed vegetables, eggs, ketchup, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs until well combined.
  4. Fold in half of the shredded cheese into the mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.
