- 1 lb frozen crinkle-cut French fries
- 1 lb marinated flank steak
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup guacamole (fresh or store-bought)
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup pico de gallo
- ¼ cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to package instructions and bake fries until golden brown (20-25 minutes).
- While fries bake, season flank steak with salt and pepper; grill over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked to preference.
- Let steak rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
- Once fries are done, sprinkle cheese on top and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
- Remove from oven and add carne asada, pico de gallo, jalapeños if using, guacamole, and sour cream.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
