- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup dulce de leche
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter, stirring occasionally until golden brown and nutty (about 5-7 minutes).
- Add mini marshmallows to the browned butter and stir continuously until melted and smooth (3-5 minutes).
- Pour in the dulce de leche and mix well until combined.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in Rice Krispies until coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and press down evenly using a spatula or wax paper.
- Allow cooling for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares. Optionally, sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
