- 3–4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through (7-8 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream gradually, stirring continuously. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Toss cooked fettuccine into the skillet with the sauce, adjusting with reserved pasta water for desired creaminess.
- Slice chicken and serve over pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley.
