Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together cocoa powder, flour, and a pinch of salt in another bowl; fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently mix in half of the chocolate chips.
  6. In a separate bowl, cream softened butter with sugars; add eggs and vanilla.
  7. Mix dry ingredients separately, then combine until dough forms.
  8. Spread half of the brownie batter in the baking dish, add spoonfuls of cookie dough on top, then swirl remaining brownie batter over it.
