- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
- Sift together cocoa powder, flour, and a pinch of salt in another bowl; fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently mix in half of the chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, cream softened butter with sugars; add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix dry ingredients separately, then combine until dough forms.
- Spread half of the brownie batter in the baking dish, add spoonfuls of cookie dough on top, then swirl remaining brownie batter over it.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out slightly fudgy.
