  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 2 cups Doritos chips (crushed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying (about 1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing the countertop and gathering ingredients. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and another with crushed Doritos.
  2. Cut chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken strip in flour, shaking off excess. Then coat in egg before rolling generously in crushed Doritos until fully covered.
  4. Heat enough oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry coated chicken strips for about 3–4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
